Have you had your frozen cycle yet? You should get 3 shots in nhs unless you responded really badly the last time. I only got 1 egg on my nhs cycle so they wouldn't give me another cycle x

Seems a bit unjust that is classed as one cycle doesn't it!!

Unfortunately every district in England has a different IVF allowance for the NHS. I'm in London and here it is only one cycle too.

Adele88 I am currently in the middle of my one and only NHS funded cycle, with egg retrieval first thing tomorrow morning. Because I have PCOS so a heap of follicles, they have been a bit worried about my hormone levels, which they are monitoring. At this stage it looks fine, but if that changes then they will not transfer the embryos this month, and like you it will be FET next month most likely. Hoping that this fresh cycle is successful as otherwise like you we will need to pay for private, so saving our pennies just in case! Xx

Hi Adele88. Unfortunately, sometimes we have a problem when doing IVF, so this is why your embryos have to be frozen and used later. It is still a fresh cycle, otherwise you wouldn't get any embryos to freeze. It's just a shame that your area only funds one cycle, which never seems fair when others fund up to three! I do hope all goes well for you when you go privately. Thinking of you. Diane

Hey hun it depends were u live to how many shots u get on the NHS... but unless u have embryos trasfered back in its not classed as a full cycle becoz i no with my sisters first cycle she really OHSS so had to freeze them and have a fet but it didnt class as a cycle..did u have any transfered hun?? And dont worry about doing a frozen cycle many people seem 2 get there BFP on a FET i myself didnt get a BFP with my first fresh with 1 embryo but did with my FET but transfered 2 embryos and my sister had twins with her FET with 1 embryo transfered xx
