Hi guys

I am new here, I have MRKH, anyone else have that? I'm doing quite a lot to try and raise awareness of this condition as like you all know it's really shit to be told you can't have children, or that it will be very difficult for you to do so

Hi Charliebishop. Welcome to the site. I was sorry to read that you suffer with this condition, and I suppose it all depends upon how it affects you in particular. As you know it can affect people in many different ways, and sometimes their only option of having a family is either through surrogacy or adoption. I do hope that you get the support you are looking for here, and wish you huge success with whatever you decide regarding having a family. Diane

Hi Diane thanks for the message. Yes for people with mrkh the only option is Ivf surrogacy or adoption which is not easy to get your head around particulalry when you are diagnosed with this condition typically in your teens. I'm in a very good position right now with my acceptance of it, it's been a long time. I'm now trying to help others by raising awareness as people are even now still being misdiagnosed! Charlie x
