Hi Aimaim77, it happened to me last month, i was gutted as im on the short protocol which ment i had to wait for my next cycle.

Stay positive you will get started and everything has got to be right!

Did they tell you how thick it still was? It needs to be under 6 to start.

I thought she said it was just over 4 so and she said it needs to be under 4 maybe I've got it wrong but going back Monday so fingers crossed.

Yes, happened to me and I was so downhearted but apparently it's really common. I seemed to catch up somehow so the egg collection date wasn't that different to what I expected initially. Good luck xx

Can I ask have you had/were you meant to have a bleed by now following down reg? On my first cycle I was still bleeding when I went for the scan but turned out lining was thin enough. However I am worried this time my cycle is going to be delayed- I am due to start down reg on Monday but only if I've had period. My down reg scan is scheduled 30/03 but I'm worried if this period doesn't show soon, it's unlikely I'll have another period by 30th so probably won't be thin enough!!

Hi yes I've had a bleed I started spray on 20th feb and had a bleed on 24th for about 4-5 days . Am really hoping lining is thin enough by Monday .

Sometimes with the nasal spray I'm worried I'm not doing it right.

I'm sure you're doing it absolutely fine. That's not a long time on down reg really, I have seen this a lot on here and sometimes think some clinics don't give enough time before the first scan, and then expectations are not managed well /disappointment when lining is not ready. My clinic does 3+ weeks of down reg before any scan. Fingers crossed you move on Monday x

Aw gutted for you. Fingers crossed for Monday x

Hi, Aimaim! I haven't experienced the delay myself but this happened to my friend. That time she was 30 yo. She happened to have her ovary lost due to some circumstances. The first time they applied for ivf she also failed to start her stims on the supposed date due to the womb lining thickness. She had to wait for another week then if I'm not mistaken. But after all the ball started rolling and soon she got pregnant.

May this small delay be your tiniest confusion on the path. Hugs X
