No not yet. We've been told around May so should hopefully get a date through soon as I think we get some notice. All this waiting is driving me crazy! Really pleased for you, so good to see positive steps. Everyone has been so lovely on here and even the support and replies so far have been really helpful! I guess it's just that level of understanding cause we'd all like the same thing!!
Oh good, not too much longer to wait hopefully ๐its such a waiting game isnt it!!
We were gutted that only 1 fertilised last time especially with ICSI where you would expect a higher fertilisation rate.
I know what you mean, my friends and family who know what we're doing try to understand or give advice but they can't really as they haven't experienced infertility. The struggle is not blaming them for it, its not there fault after all ๐ xx
Awesome!! Pleased to hear the good news! Now we keep waiting! โบ๏ธ tmrw is my ET and I'm so excited! Just a bit nervous to find out how many made it to blastocyst but fingers crossed a good number ๐ Keep me posted of ur development. โบ๏ธ Till then... Happy V day! ๐
Thanks and happy Valentine's day ๐ good luck with your ET tomorrow, I have a gut feeling I'll be in for transfer tomorrow too unless 1 of the embryos is perfect ๐ xx
WOohoo! Aren't you excited?? OMG - have you thought about if u get twins!?! I've got only one blastocyst transferred today (easy process right? - and we've been told we got really good embryos meaning we got 10 ready to be frozen today and another 6 under observation to develop some more. So all 17 fertilised eggs actually made it through!! We are very pleased!! Our nurse told us to do our pregnancy test on the 26th Feb (in 11 days). Praying we both have amazing news in 2 weeks!! xx
Yes I can finally be excited now ๐all of the worrying and waiting and only 1 hurdle left eeeeek!! Really hope both stick (we have stupidly named the embryos phil and lil) I've always wanted more than 1 child as I loved having siblings growing up. What will be will be ๐ I have to go in for a blood test on the 26th bring it on and best of luck for your 11 day wait xx
Ooh best of luck! I had 2 embryos transferred too and we named them Winnie the Pooh and Piglet because they're best buddies. I think it helps to name them and create a bond early on - I'm now just over 18 weeks and both looking well, although I had a minor bleeding episode at the weekend.
Thanks for sharing your good news about your twins, gives me hope ๐ hopefully bleeding is nothing to worry about, did they do another scan after your bleed?xx
Thanks! It still came as a shock to see 2 sacs developing at the 6 week scan but I had a slight suspicion as the hpt I took had a v strong line.
For the bleeding incident I went to the emergency room at the maternity hospital and they scanned them and checked cervix. Everything looked fine and I went to my GP today who picked up hb with a Doppler. She signed me off work just as a precaution but I'm going to be positive and think everything is fine. I spoke to a nurse at the twin clinic and she said some women just bleed and everything is fine.
Hi, JoJo! That's really amazing! If the first time it was one only you've got two now! This is a positive development of the process. I'm so happy for you!
Well now have our fingers crossed for both of them successfully placed on your board)
This is a good present for Valentine's Day. May God help you further on your way x
