Thank you all for your support through this emotional time. I'm at the miscarriage clinic on Thursday, can anyone tell me what will happen at my appointment?

Fingers crossed everything will be ok.

Hi SuzanneAM. Well, I just wanted to wish you well with your appointment on Thursday, and it is good to hear that you have been referred to the clinic for further investigations. They will probably check you both for chromosome abnormalities (karyotyping) – blood tests. If a problem s found, then you would probably be referred to a geneticist. A scan of the structure of your womb and a scan of your cervix too, to check whether there is any weakness. However, the cervix scan is sometimes left until you become pregnant again! A blood test to check for antiphospholipids to check for clotting problems. Can’t think of anything else. Lots to sort out, but hopefully you will get some answers as to what has gone on. Good luck for tomorrow! Diane
