I have stage 4 endometriosis and a large cyst. I'm 39 and have never had a child. The consultants and IVF have said get pregnant ASAP even with the cyst.
ive started treatment gonal f and cerotide - mild ivf so less drugs.
Anyone else experienced pregnancy with an endo cyst and endo??
I have endo and just in my 2ww. I had the endo removed (as much as they could) before ivf so had no cysts at first scan. However the stim drugs lead to me developing one (might be why you are on low meds).This did mean for me that I didn't get any follicles from that side ( the cyst stopped them growing to the required size). So I only got half the amount of follicles that they would expect, but still managed to get 5! X
Yes I have! Stage 4 endo was removed about a year before IVF - paperwork! Anyway finally got for first appointment and a cyst had returned! Cue wait for cyst drainage! Another month, just about to start and the cyst had returned within 4 weeks! So we proceeded - cancelled cycle then first full cycle! It was 6cm and went up to 9.5cm during treatment but gave me no pain what's so ever! Anyway we were very lucky and got our BFP! I still have that right cyst - 6cm. Luckily it is growing above the uterus so shouldn't cause any problem! Good luck xx
