I had my EC yesterday they called me today 4 have fertilised they are leaving them to blastocyst and transfer saturday They going to call again fri to let me know what time i need to be there

That is fantastic news!! 4 out of 5 is a brilliant result! Good luck for Saturday. I am just home after EC, it was't as bad as I thought and the sedation they used was fab! Im a bit tender at the minute but took a couple of painkillers and they have helped. They got 9 eggs so Im really hoping some will fertilise and be good quality! Delighted you got so many fertilised

Thank you lou are you back home now? the sedation is great isnt it when I went into theatre i was so nervous i was shaking and the nurses stayed with me and held my hand till i fell a sleep they been great throughout look forward to hearing how many of yours fertilise wish u all the best xxx

Thank you Ro5ie. I got home around lunchtime (my EC was at 10.30) I have been dozing on and off here on the sofa since. So relieved its over me now! Keep me posted on how your transfer goes. In the meantime keep taking it easy and try to stay relaxed xx

hope you resting well did they say how many eggs they got? Im feeling excited but still worried about my embryos I wont know anymore till fri now and the time im going in for transfer xx

They got 9 eggs, so heres hoping a good few will fertilise. The clinic will ring me in the morning to let me know. My transfer will be on friday or sunday. You are right, it is exciting but nerve wreaking also!! Im sure everything will go well for you, stay positive and good luck for friday!! x
