I have been taking the nasal spray and I am on day 12 of taking my Gonal injections. I have been told that I am nearly ready and should be ready on Wednesday which is my next scan. Could anyone tell me how long in between is the wait between being told you are ready and actually going in for egg collection?

Hello sjbiddington,

Once the clinic are happy they will be give you your trigger shot (to take at home). This needs to be administered 36 hours before egg collection so you will have at least that much notice! I had my last scan on the Monday morning, took my trigger shot on the Tuesday night and had egg collection on Thursday morning.
