So was due period on 3rd and still not appeard ? I have only every been late the period a had after my first ivf , driving me mad even tested 2nd day of being late but was negative as I excpected

I too am waiting for my period, it's so frustrating as I'm usually so regular. I checked with the nurse at our clinic before Christmas and she said it's quite usual for your normal cycle to be disrupted after IVF, but I haven't had a period since November after the negative pregnancy test after out first round of ICSI.

I am going to ring her again this week, perhaps you need to do the same if it doesn't arrive by next week.

And me ... always regular and now 3 days late but test says not pregnant x it'd so disheartening ! On top of that got 2 and a half stone to lose before ivf !

Hi Melainah

I am sorry to hear that news....I too was very late coming on after failed attempt and was told to continuous test which delayed the whole healing process.

Your body has been through loads as of late and it needs time to recover and take back on normal flow.

Even though when you do a test that little part of you hopes it's a positive and when it isn't you get a complete kick in the belly all over again. Mine was a month late failed attempt on 15 Nov and period arrived 15th Dec for 3 days and you can believe it was a totally different period to what I normally have which is painful and heavy but none the less it came lasted 3 days and was a light one considering although got pre warning signs 2 weeks prior to it starting.

Me too, my period is 5 days late and is normally so regular. Have also taken pregnancy tests and all are negative! Ny next test I need cant be booked till i get my period so everything is on hold now!

Hello. I know It can be annoying. I have been there. My cycles are random anyway. Now made worse by Ivf and my recent miscarriage. I know this might sound weird. But when ever I had my late period I thought maybe it was because I was still pregnant or slim chance I could be. But when ever i relaxed and let it happen my period would arrive the next day. Now I'm not Saying it will for you. But I always felt that sychologilcally (can't spell it) that beacause I wanted it so bad I would delay period from coming. So just Try to relax. Lots of love. X
