Down reg - waiting on period!

Hey everyone 🙋‍♀️

I’ve been taking Buserelin for 12 days now and still no sign of period. My boobs are sore but that’s it. I normally spot for 4 days before I’m due as well.

I’m due back next Thursday for my baseline scan. Does anyone know the process if it doesn’t come? What will happen? I’m going to call clinic on Monday. It’s stressing me about a bit.

This is second round and it came pretty much on time last time. I’m now 4 days late.

Hi lovely, argh it is so bloody typical and the same thing happened to me. Buserelin can delay your period. Mine was 5 days late in the end, they just asked me to call when it did arrive and moved my baseline scan and continued as normal. Hopefully it's not too far away now for you 🤞 good luck xx

I hope mine does come, I’ve read about cycles being cancelled and things and really want to get this round in before Xmas! Thanks for your reply, that’s reassuring xx

Oh I know the feeling, I've got a scan on monday and I'm hoping they will see all good for transfer as I really want to get it in before xmas too. Good luck hun xx

Hello! Yes agree with Italy! This was my first time on buserlin and it delayed my period too - the one month I wanted it early lol! Fingers crossed it comes soon!! Xx

Thanks for the reply - hopefully it comes over the weekend. Just don’t want anything to delay my cycle so I can enjoy Christmas and not be in limbo! (successful cycle or not!) xx

Oh I know, you should be fine though! I’m only on day 5 of stims and think I’ll transfer at the end of the month so if you’re roughly a week behind me you should transfer and get your results at least a week before Xmas! Good luck for your upcoming cycle xx

Hi, my first cycle on Buserelin had period on time, then this time it was delayed by quite a few days. Sure they’ll just push back scan a bit. All the best x
