Had egg collection this morning. Got 15 eggs. Feeling this is not many and I'm being an egg donor.

I will only get 8 of these and only 50% develop they said. Just waiting to hear when transfer is.

My injections were mixed up and told to take them on wrong day so was thinking the worst. That's good then thankyou for advice x

Stella I got 9, 7 of which were quite strong then in the end we had 4 blastos (3frozen and one transferred). We're not sharing though as we're NHS funded.

Definitely drink lots of water and rest. Your body has been through a lot.

That's fab news. I was told it was more than likely I wouldn't have any to freeze I don't know why tho.

Hi I got 22 eggs, 16 fertilised and 8 went to blasts and other 8 stopped dividing so they are right by what they say about 50% making it. Well done on 15 eggs, I think why they said you may not get any to freeze is because not all of them fertilise and obviously you are donating too. Good luck for your results tomorrow.

Congratulation stellewaddingham, im really proud of u!! I was abit worried and anxious when i saw yesterday that they had mixed up the drugs for u... but atleast u had 15eggs.. good luck for the rest of the cycle till u get results of the pregnancy test

i got 13 as a egg sharer i got 6 eggs other lady got 7 4 fertillised in the end i had one 8 cells two 11 cell eggs and one 14 cell egg they put the two 11 cell eggs on a 3 day transfer and took the 14 cell egg to blast which is now frozen and i am now 13 weeks and 6 days pregnant its quality not quantity xxx

Hi hun they could only collect 8 eggs from me and all 8 fertilised ! In the end we only had 1 blasto which transferred but I'm now 15 weeks pregnant ! You should be fine and have 1 to transfer sxx
