Egg collection this morning

They got 23 eggs and have just phoned to say they managed to inject 20 of them and can't see any damage as of yet, we are doing icsi. Ohh I am so excited for my phone calls and can't wait for the egg transfer now

Thats a really good amount of eggs.. I got 13 eggs 8 fertilised but I only ended up with one embryo. As you could imagine i was panicking that It wouldn't work for me.. but the one chance I had worked and im 3 months pregnant. Icsi seems to have a good success rate so try not to stress to much and good luck hun

good luck i only had 6 eggs but egg shared other lady got 7 eggs and i am now 7 weeks pregnant and 1 frostie xxx

Great number well done ! I only got 8 eggs and luckily all 8 fertlised but only 1 made it to transfer. I'm 10 weeks pregnant now via icsi so it only takes one !! Good luck hun xx

Hi jsth1979 I was really uncomfortable after my egg collection it was Monday and I stayed off work all week I felt quite poorly the nurse said it was because of the amount of eggs I had. Try not to worry to much about it though it is a means to n end and fingers crossed it will all be worth it but I would definatly take some time off work after it I had the full week off. I had my transfer on Friday and managed to get four frozen too, the transfer doesn't hurt at all!! Xx
