Egg collection this morning 🐣

Had egg collection done this morning. I bled quite a bit so quite uncomfortable and walking like John Wayne! But on a happier note, they managed to get 8 out but they never advised of the quality of them. I will be waiting eagerly at the phone tomorrow for THAT call 🤞

Can I ask what sort of sedation do they use? Emmy egg collection is on Monday and starting to freak out now 😱 x

Hi, oh please dont let my experience stress you out. My first egg collection was a breeze, i felt a little uncomfortable but nothing too bad. The second round I found it a little harder (from the beginning of the injections right up to egg collection) so i personally think my body is just tired this time round. I just had a general anaesthetic, the anaesthetic part is absolutely fine, you just have a nice sleep and wake up a few minutes later. Best of luck for your egg collection, you will be fine.

Wishing you the best of luck i hope you have plenty of good eggs for ET not long to wait but when it was me i just rested alot and got a hotwater bottle to sooth you. Drink plenty and get lots of good films to watch to take your mind off the wait as i got a call first thing in the morning so your have your answers very soon. This is your time to relax. ☺

Sooo happy!! I got the call earlier today and 5 have fertilised. I will have transfer on wednesday so hopefully they all do what they supposed to do in the meantime. Im so super excited.
