Waiting....

...For my period to start. I didn't think I would be saying that for a long time!

Because of my VERY long cycles the IVF clinic are putting me on the contraceptive pill to regulate my cycle again. This will reduce the amount of down reg injections I need to take. Ultimately a good thing.

I was classed as unexplained but having spoken to the consultant and reviewing my history his diagnosis was that actually I was having difficulty ovulating ... Hence the very long cycles (I'm currently on day 42 with no bleed)...

So... I am just waiting... For my period to start so I can start taking the pill so I don't have another period... Thank goodness for this forum where experiences are shared and worries are reduced and questions are answered... Getting your head around it all can be quite daunting!
