Down reg injections, what time is best to do them early evening after work or late evening. Can't decide.

Starting my down reg injections 22nd Dec, been told to do them in evening just can't decide what the best time will be, any suggestions?

I had to do mine in the morning. I would say late evening in case u are out or late back from work.

Hi Purplepixie, I always planned to do the injections in the morning but told by the nurse that they had to be done in the evening. We're you given the option then.

Oh! Maybe each clinic and case is different. We'll I just have to do what I'm told and work out a time that is best for me, but reckon your right and late evening seems best.

I did mine at 7pm.....I knew that my bf would be home by then to do the injections for me. I could never do them in the morning coz I'm so unorganised first thing and I'd be rushing to do it x

Hi Emmy007 I will be doing my own injections my bf far too clumsy also not bothered about needles so prefer to do them myself. I will be on supercur so maybe that is why I have been told to do them in evening. What were you using any nasty side effects.

Hi, I also used suprecur, I didn't get any side effects at all even with the stimulating inj......I had to do my own a couple of times and they're really not bad at all. I was expecting mood swings and crying fits but I had nothing luckily. Weirdly I was excited to do the injections....I think it's coz we had waited so long for treatment that something was finally happening

Hi. I did my injections early evening because I didn't want to have to get up early on weekends to do them. I also did them myself, injected my in thighs and tummy. I used a hot water bottle on the area I was going to inject. Seemed to make doing the injections easier. Good luck. They aren't too bad.
