Hello Kat.

I conceived after my 4th round of IVF (3 fresh cycles, then 1 frozen), aged 39. I am now 34 weeks pregnant. We found that the IVF shorter protocol worked best for us, as it enabled us to produce more embryos, but of course everyone is different. Wishing you lots of luck. I know it's not an easy journey.

I happy to av been able to make u smile a little. My friend was ready to give up trying but is so glad she never. I am feelin sad for anyone suffering as my daughter. Yes is only young. (21). But hurts daily avin suffer pcos but the worse of it. And has already tried clomid. She has just been referred to a endo so hoping for bit more info as she been told nothing only nothing more can be done. Of r G.P. Which she had no rite saying. But my daughter has put the referral on hold till after Xmas avin only just started a new job and doesn't want to lose it avin time of yet. As she been out of work due to her pcos diagnosis. As she couldn't get her head together. But she finds it easier now workin as not sat thinking as much.

I all ways say never put it off it can take over a year to get there I was sent away for 6 months 3 months and another 6 then said no more if your not going to help lets call it a day after losing 6 stone then went on to IVF I feel like they weasted so much time if you go thought you can still put it on hold all the best please don't waste time they take so long xxxx

Hi Kat,

I am 39, and after 2 fresh cycles and one frozen cycle I am now 23 weeks pregnant. I didn't think it would ever happen and had almost given up hope. I was opposite of noper as we produced more eggs on the long cycle. But I think this will be due to my endometriosis, as the long cycle switches the endo off for a longer period before you have the embryo put in.

It is so hard, I know, but it can happen. Hopefully you will be third time lucky like we were.
