Is my housband semen analysis suitable for icsi ?

hey

my housband semen analysis show low count ( 16 mil / ml )

low motility ( 0 % high active motile - 10 % active )

morphology ( 1 % normal ) most abnormalities in head and neck

Hi my partners semen analysis showed he had low mortility, he got 23% and 0% for morphology but the clinic said he is good for icsi and not to worry as he still had sperm there.

Hi rosylibya. If you have some live sperm, then you should be good to go! You might find that the clinic will need more than one specimen of semen in order to freeze as many good sperm as they can prior to your ICSI. Try giving your husband a good multi-vitamin tablet, along with some zinc and selenium, which can sometimes help with count and motility. Kind regards. Diane
