I am also new to this forum and have just started my first IVF/ICSI cycle. I am currently taking Norethisterone so haven't started injections yet. I know what you mean about feeling you have forgotten everything the nurse told you i am worried about that as well.
Due to this being my first cycle i cannot offer much advise i'm afraid but i am really interested to hear what others may post as i am also after all the advise i can get.
Good luck with everything and i have everything crossed for you.
Thanks for the reply, I couldn't wait to get to this point and now I think I'm more nervous then before I just want to do everything I can to make sure it goes as well as it can. I'm starting on buserelin, have you suffered with any side effects? I hope everything is going well for you so far?
I know exactly what you mean. It has taken us three years to get to this point and whilst i'm really excited i'm really worried about doing something wrong. My injections were delivered today and i'm even worried that the fridge is at the wrong temperature and this will cause it not to work.
I haven't had many side effects from the Norethisterone other than sore boobs and a few dizzy spells and really tired but thats no different for me. However, i have had to stop taking medication for my arthritis so in a lot more pain as a result. I just want the next few weeks to fly by and at the end of it have the result i want. Feeling impatient already. God knows what i'll be like on 2ww.
How are you getting on? Hope you are doing ok and not experiencing too many side effects.
