Hi everyone

Hope you are all okay

I wondered if anyone can suggest any support groups for pregnancy after multiple loss/ pregnancy after infertility?

Feeling like it could be helpful as each day I am fearful and have a lot of anxiety because of my history x x

I don't know any but replying to 1) send love and 2) see what the replies are as I could benefit from this.

Of note, most hospitals have a specialist midwifery team if you've had loss and they can offer extra support and scans etc. At our hospital it's called rainbow clinic xx

Hi Skittles.

I’m not aware of any either. I found it a really hard period after the fertility clinic up to the point the consultants took over and then I had ultrasound scans every 4 weeks and ended up having CGT scans every 2 weeks for the last 8 weeks or so even after a bleed at 14 weeks and even though I had had previous losses etc, the only other help I had was a private therapist.

Being pregnant was the longest and hardest thing I have ever done in terms of stress and worry. Every milestone just seemed to bring on another one to worry about and even though people were really supportive I didn’t really feel that anyone else got it. How could they! I knew they would be there for me if it went wrong but all I wanted was for it to go right and no-one could make me that guarantee. Regardless of the many kind and supportive words.

I think I know how you may feel.

Take a look at our website fertilitynetworkuk.org Access Support then select Fertility Groups scroll to UK-Wide to find closed Facebook Group "Pregnancy & Beyond Groups " and follow prompts to register Next meeting Tues 23rd July 8pm via Zoom Also let your midwife know how you are feeling - the unit may have a specialist team/midwife who could help you cope with your anxiety

Take care

Thanks JA-fnuk I looked at the group and sent an email to claire@fertilitynetworkuk.org who is listed as the contact for that group. I got an automated reply which says she is on leave until August so she is not going to pick up the email to send me / or anyone the Zoom link?

How many weeks are you now lovely? I did find it a lot easier once I could feel the baby move. Hopefully that will come soon and will help a little bit.

Don’t forget you can go into the hospital and ask to hear the heartbeat whenever you need to. I went multiple times and felt like a crazy woman but it’s what I needed to do to get through.

Just remember that your worries and anxiety are complete valid. You’ve been through so much and it wouldn’t be normal if you DIDN'T worry.

Sending you lots of love xx
