My daughter is pregnant with non identical twins they each have their own placenta. At her scan yesterday they are concerned that one twin is growing as much as he should be. The differential was 34%, although the blood flow all appears fine. she’s got a more in-depth scan next week, just looking for reassurance has anyone had similar issues and everything was ok?

28 week twin pregnancy growth issue
hi there, I think it’s fairly common for one twin to be a bit smaller?? I have one friend whose twins were like this and my husband was considerably bigger than his twin sister at birth. Fingers crossed all goes well at her next scan 🥰 🤞🏼
Yes going through the exact same thing now. Went for the more in depth scan and they came back with a smaller discrepancy and weren't so worried. I'm back to just being monitored every 2-4 weeks x
Hi. My twins always measured different during pregnancy, at birth, and there is still a big difference but both healthy. I think the main thing is that the growth rate isn’t dropping but my understanding is that they can follow their own growth curve ( although these charts are less accurate for twins). Wishing your daughter well x
thank u all for your replies, very reassuring, her consultant was very harsh with his words mentioning still birth that just sent her in panic mode, looking at the weights there isn’t a massive difference so I’m still confused it hoping the scan on Thursday will be more reassuring x
