So I had an MRI at the start of Jan to get a better look at my placenta. The radiologist said it could be up to 2 weeks for the results, it’s not almost been 3 weeks since I had it done and I’ve still not heard anything or had an appointment with the doctor about the results. I asked my midwife about it yesterday and she’s sent an urgent referral for me to be seen by the doctor so I can get the results. I was feeling a bit positive about it since I hadn’t heard anything as ‘no news is good news’ and all that but now I’m back to worrying!
Any words of wisdom?

I'd try to hold on to the 'no news is good news' message Ziggy, if you can! It must be so frustrating though, to find the results are taking so long. The weeks seem to crawl by in pregnancy, at the best of times! At least they do for me 😆 Hang in there, hopefully things are resolving themselves and the placenta won't end up being an issue at all 🤞 xx
Thank you for the replies! I had my results today and although my placenta is still low near my cervix they’ve ruled out accreta (where it’s stuck to the uterus) so I’m really relieved and thankful! I’m hoping my placenta will move up over the next few weeks 🤞🏻
