Hi ladies, I had my blood sugar levels tested yesterday and have had a call from the hospital today to say my level is slightly over what it should be and is 7.9. Has anyone else had a higher reading and got a lower one the second time? I have to go back this time next week which seems like so long to wait!

I had high levels as well and was put on libre sensors for monitoring. Also started on insulin to manage. Now after 3 months, sugar seems to be regulating and they are slowly reducing my insulin intake. But still on continuous monitoring.
Hi Gempuddleduck. Well, that is about as high you want it to go, so after your next test, they may want you to cut down on sugars etc like a diabetic diet. Try not to panic as they will keep a close eye on you. Should you need any treatment, all usually resolves following birth. Diane
