Like you, I have been regularly reading and contributing to this group, hoping that our shared experiences would help others in the way it has helped me.
That’s why I also wanted to share our happy news and announce that our baby girl was patient enough to wait for our c-section date last week and was 8 pounds 9 ounces. C-section went smoothly and am now recovering at home.
After so many disappointments and stress, it is difficult to remain optimistic but we persisted and are over the moon with our little one. Thank you for sharing your experiences and keep us focused on the end goal.
Wishing you all the best in your journeys.

Amazing news! Congratulations and enjoy this new page of your life! Hope from now on your life is full of health and happiness only 🌻🌻🌻🌻💕💕💕😘😘😍😍😍 I just love happy endings/beginnings 😍💕😍😘
congratulations Sunflower!!! How are you doing? I also had an emergency c section and had a lot of rubbish after effects (the last one I’m still dealing with at 4 months post) so if you want someone to chat to about this please do PM me. I hope baby is sleeping and feeding well ❤️❤️❤️🥰
Ah no!! Sorry to hear that. It is early days for my c-section, I’ll definitely ping you if I don’t see progress with my recovery. Baby does more feeding than sleeping! 😌 Are you more settled into your baby “routine”, if it can ever be called that?
Hi Sunflower! Yes in fact, we’ve just gone through the 4 month regression and hoping we’re on the other side of it as she’s started to roll. I was unlucky with a serious UTI that my nurse friend thinks was a kidney infection but they just never diagnosed it. But I was in hospital for. And then I’m still stuck with stress incontinence that doesn’t affect all - so don’t worry too much as these are unfortunate but i definitely went through the mill so I have all the advice. Luckily had my OH on hand to help when I was in hospital and unwell. But I’m much better in myself and my baby is doing very well and I’m sure you will too! More feeding than sleeping sounds familiar. It broke me a bit and I had to introduce formula for my sanity but I still feed in the night and express once a day. You’re so early in the process. Try and enjoy it and if you find you’re not, you do what you need to to make it better xxx
Ah wow… I cannot imagine going through all of that while looking after a newborn… So glad to hear you are doing better now! Thanks for the tips on formula, I’ll definitely use it to top up and avoid insanity… Look after yourself!
Ah did you! That’s a lot to process… I had always planned a C-section as I suspected baby would be big and knowing my luck, I knew I’d end up needing one… So baby was breech from week 29 all the way to week 39!
Congratulations! Wonderful news, thank you for sharing.

Congratulations on your baby girl! C sections are hard going so please take it easy and don’t do too much. Enjoy lots of cuddles with you new little bundle xx
Thanks! So easy to forget to take it easy while on painkillers until they start to wear off and remind you that you shouldn’t overdo it! Enjoying just staring at her with every feed 😊.
