Hi everyone. I think I’m just being an anxious mess, but over the last couple of days I’ve developed a feeling of heaviness in my lower abdomen with an occasional stretching feeling. I had a normal viability scan last Tuesday but we all know how quickly things can change. Has anyone else had something similar? I’m hoping it’s just my body changing but the change in symptoms has me worried. Thank you in advance, and I hope you’re all doing ok x

Hi Claire,
All absolutely normal 🙂 in fact, I found first trimester the most uncomfortable physically in my pelvis with my body stretching to accommodate little one (I do have endo too) but remember how quickly your uterus stretches from quite small to rather big for bubs 👶 heaviness, stretching, pulling, pulsing/aching ovaries, generally mild discomfort were all normal for me.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. Xx

Hi Claire. Could be your round ligaments starting to move upwards. Try not to worry, your scan was good, so hopefully all is continuing as it should. You are nearly a quarter of the way through! Diane
