London clinic or private ob/gyn recommendations?

I’m relocating from Spain (where I did IVF this spring) to London next week, and I’m afraid there’ll be a few weeks when I’m not in the NHS system yet but I’ll need some medical follow-up for my pregnancy (8 weeks pregnant with thyroid and coagulation complications)…

Does anyone have any recommendations for a private (or NHS that will take private insurance, if that is possible) clinic or ob/gyn so I can have the tests, scans and follow up I need until I’m in the system?

Many thanks!

Hi, you just need to join the gp which the local doctors surgery. Also if you are pregnant you could just self refer yourself to a nearby maternity unit at the hospital. They will be in contact with you for booking in appointment usually within 10days. There’s really no need to go down the private route tbh

Thanks so much! That makes me feel much better, I thought I needed to be registered with NHS - this makes things simpler.

Thanks again,
