miscarriage

hi guys,

Just wanted to see if anyone had a similar experience.

I started to miscarry 18 days ago and I thought I had passed it all on bank holiday just gone, I had dark brown/black discharge since with the odd bit of red blood, yesterday though I had gushes of blood with clots saturating 2 pads and underwear, I’m worrying now that it’s incomplete I’ve got to do a test on Friday as it will have been 3 weeks praying it’s negative 🙏🏻

hey! I’m so sorry you are going through this! I went through same in March/April.

Everyone is completely different so I don’t know what is happening with you and please don’t think what happened with me would be the same! For me I thought I had passed everything and the scan showed it was incomplete miscarriage. I had to get a D&C (that I wish I opted for from the beginning). Also My bleeding was all over the place for 2 weeks and then the scan confirmed the clots were just lining of the womb.

I really hope this is not the case for you. Does your maternity hospital scan you to ensure all is ok? Perhaps you can ask? It settles the mind x

thanks for the reply ❤️ It’s sucks doesn’t it. I contacted them on the Tuesday (day after I thought I had passed it all) and said I think it’s all gone she said to do a test 3 weeks later which will be Friday if it’s negative then all good but if it’s still positive I have to go for a scan and possible further management, I opted for natural as I’ve had 2 ectopic pregnancies in the past and I died during the second one my tube ruptured and I had an anaphylactic shock during the surgery and I was in itu so I’m trying my best to avoid any sort of surgery as I’ve got ptsd now, I’m a nurse in a local hospital and I’m fine there but the one we have to go to for pregnancy is 45 mins away and the only one I can go to I get palpitations going there 🙈 I just want something to go right for once , how are you now? Any plans for another round? Xx

Yep it wasn’t a straight forward MC for me it was my first and took 5 weeks in total! We just did another FET on 2 June!
