Hi there. I would love to hear about how you were able to handle future pregnancy after a loss. Repeated miscarriage is so devastating and it is hard to be excited for a new pregnancy. I found this great article which discusses the psychological impact of miscarriage:

I would love to hear what coping strategies are working for you. Sending love 💛

I love the article you shared! I had a miscarriage when I was 5 1/2 months pregnant at the age of 17. He was my first child and I was super excited to become a mommy. During my pregnancy i was having a discharge that didn't feel normal. The doctor kept telling me it was normal and that I had nothing to worry about. Long after short, my placenta was punctured and my water basically broke which caused an infection that was spreading. So I went into the ER and I had to have an induced labor. I was grateful for the time I was able to hold my son, I didn't want to let go. After that experience I tried for another baby. I was absolutely terrified but I kept my faith and hoped and prayed for my pregnancy to be a healthy one. I now have a beautiful daughter. I haven't found many coping mechanisms thus far but I'm hoping my therapy sessions and meditation techniques will help guide me to heal.
