Morning all,

I haven’t slept properly due to hot flushes and spotting symptoms and so did a test this morning and it has come back negative. It was a Lloyds pharmacy early response pregnancy test.

Gutted 😢

I can see a faint second line? maybe test again in a day or so or buy a clear blue (you can get them cheaper in b&m) the first positive test I got was like this (unfortunately I had a mmc) xx

I thought that second line was supposed to be more prominent? I couldn’t work out if it was just like that to begin with or not. So I assumed negative as it is so much more stronger. I will test again in a few days and will swap to digital. My OTT isn’t till Tuesday so will wait and see. Thanks hun xxxx

There looks to be a slight line. If your OTD isn't until Tuesday I think you test again then xx

Trying not to get my hopes up over a line that doesn’t look like it’s there 😩 also majorly cramping. But I think I will keep retesting now till OTT xxx

I know it’s tricky with hopes and things lovely but keep testing if you need to and don’t take it as a categorical no until Tuesday ! So you’re dark like is the control line and you expect that to be dark. The test line does appear to be faintly there, if at least wait 48 hours to test as that’s how often hcg rises so you’re more likely to see a difference if there is one xx

Yes that’s what I was thinking. I’m just going to keep testing till it’s OTD to see if there’s a change! I’ve read about evaporation lines and chemical pregnancies so just not going to think it’s positive until it’s as dark as the control line xxx

Definitely see a line, test again with a more sensitive test like a First Response Early Result, i think you can buy it in Boots or Amazon. I suggest buy a double pack and do one tomorrow with the first morning urine and one on ODT. Good luck! 💫

Thanks hun! I’ve just bought some normal ones as I thought they would just come up lighter. I am also popping in to the pharmacy and will have a look to see xx
