I'm new to this website and am looking for some advise please!
I'm on day 9 after my day 5 blastocyst transfer (on 30th March), but have started bleeding this morning, with some painful on off cramps.
This is my first round of IVF, up until now I haven't had any issues, only syptoms have been really tender boobs, up until a day a go, and a little cramping!
I'm scared this my period arriving (3days Early) and this is my body rejecting this attempt !
I'm due to home test on Tuesday (11th) and trying to hold out until then!
Advise would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Hannah

Hey Hannah I had bleeding on our first round after about 5 days which lasted a day or two, we went on to get a BFP! Has the bleeding stopped now? I did go on to miscarry a couple of weeks later, long after the initial bleed had stopped. As long as it's not dark red, full flow, try not to worry xxx
Hi Sprinkles86 thanks for your reply and advise, no the bleeding started yesterday morning and still going, it's more bright red than dark, I'm going to my clinic tomorrow for a blood test! Thanks again for your advise xx
Hi sprinkles86 thanks for your help and advise over the weekend! I've had four BFP this week!! Am still bleeding, but he been gradually getting less each day, I'm waiting for blood progesterone test results, as if this is low then that could be causing the bleeding! I hope all is well with you xxx
Ah that's great news hopefully they will know more then! I'm good thank you, had embryo transfer last Friday and we test Tuesday.... So I'm up and down, feeling positive then negative... π¬π¬π¬ xxxx
Hi, sorry to hear your having some bleeding too, it's scariest to me! When the bleeding started my clinic up'd my two cyclogest pessaries a day to three as they said my progesterone level could be low, which can cause bleeding.
After my post, I tested on the 10th and 11th April (which was official test day) and I got my BFP π the bleeding/spotting carried on until Easter Monday then stopped, and I've just turned 10weeks pregnant today!
When are you due to test? Thinking positive thoughts for you xx
Hi Hana08, congratulations on your pregnancy! Not long till your 12w scan now π¬. I got BFP last Thurs but need to have the bloods repeated Monday as the hCG was low. It could go either way. I've been spotting between brown and pinky/red for the last 2-3 days. Have hope that you had same up to a week after BFP!!! But also trying to be realistic xx
Hi WeeMrsH, ah thanks! congratulations on your BFP too! I remember when we got out BFP it was shadowed by the bleeding and I felt like I couldn't get excited about it until the bloods, my first hcg was 52, then rose to 125 in less than 48Hrs, I was the same as you trying to be realistic just encase, but you might be surprised! I defiantly was! I'll be thinking of you an sending positive vibes!! Let me know how you get on xx
oh thank you for the advice, yes I'm still bleeding but its only light and pinky/light red. I have been in a lot of pain, pain for 3 days then nothing for a day then lots of pain yesterday when the bleeding started but not a lot of pain today just like a period ache. Im at day 8 now of day 5 transfer, I tested negative at day 5 and 7. I'm still taking the pessaries, can I just up them to 3 or do I need to call the clinic. You are pregnant Oh wow, congratulations and good luck in everything xx
Ah you poor thing, have you spoken to your clinic since the bleeding started?
No don't just up, then I would speak to the clinic, if you have already call again, I'm sure they won't mind you calling, it's best to put your mind at rest about it!
It maybe still to early to for a positive, I was too scared too!
Ah thank you, I still can't believe it most days! Lol!
If I were you defiantly call your clinic and have a chat and pester them until the you feel a bit more relaxed about it, that is what they are there for!
Positive thoughts for you!! Let me know how you get on xx
