So here we are. We had the dreaded call that our embryos weren’t viable which means we didn’t even make it to transfer stage.
However of the eggs I donated, the recipient had progression and a viable embryo. The clinic are now reluctant to say that there’s a possible hit could be the donor sperm we used.
Has anyone changed clinics following failed treatment? X

Is this your first round? How many embryos did your recipient get?
The clinics can learn so much from each round, I would recommend you book a review appointment with your consultant and they should be able to give you more direction?
If it is your first round I would suggest unless you are very unhappy with your clinic it may be a bit early to get a second opinion x
Was the first round, they didn’t tell me how many she had but did tell me many developed. And she was in for transfer today.
All of mine did exactly the same thing and fragmented extremely. They were just so dismissive that the only differing factor was the sperm. Like it couldn’t possible my be the sperm we got from the in house bank.
I just feel robbed off, to use donor eggs the recipient pays a very large sum of money and I can’t help thinking they got what they needed from me.
I’m 31 with no health issues, they collected 18 eggs first try with minimal stimulation. There’s something they’re hiding and I can’t put my finger on it, xx
