2 week wait after ET on the 9 th December....

Hi to all ladies and couples trying to conceive.

I am through my number 2 ivf that was done in Slovakia.

Number one is a 10 months old baby girl asleep upstairs ❤️.

I felt really nervous about doing this ivf number 2 as I was allegedly diagnosed in August with the hypothyroidism... Long story cutshort... This turned out to be over treated-- as my ivf clinic ordered me to stop taking the medications immediately on the 30 th November after high F4 and f3 reading of 30....I started the ivf treatment of injections on the 23 Rd of November. ( was on levothyroxine 25 mcg every day and the 2 on one off days.) this came down significantly after stopping the thyroxine tablets from the 30 th November. - to t4 22 and t3 6.5.tsh was 0.005

So the ivf clinic then decided to go ahead with my ET ( 2 eggs retrieved only. One not made it to day 4 and other was grade 2 EB/Embyo

My ET was done on the 9 th December we used embryo glue as well....

We had to travel back home the next day so from around 2 pm on the 10 th I had to help to carry my daygjter about 3 to 4 times through the day... Sje is only 10 months but sadly my hubby had to pull heavy suitcases and rucksacks...

I had some cramps on the 11 th and then 15 th till 18 th on and off... Sweaty some nights. Moody and super tired. Sometimes tingling in the boobs but nothing else.

We were naughty and decided to jump the gun and take test bought in the shop today. Today is 20 th December . Clear blue digital one. It's been day 11 after the embryo transfer.

And nothing.... negative result. The Timer was going around for ageees.... 😅

We were told., not to do the blood test back home at GP - untill the 14 or 15 days after the 9 th December so on the 23 Rd or 24 th December.

Could it be I am too early?

Panicking now whether it worked or not.... Whether my t3 level of 8.2 could be the reaon of no success? Whether lifting my 10 th month old girl here and there did some damage?

It feels horrid and I wish I wouldnt taken that test today....

Any experiences of any of you also having early negative test and then positive? Even better if any of you have or had thyroid problems through ivf...?

Thank you. Sadly I had no other ladies commenting if anyone had a negative pee on a stick teat on a day 10 and then positive blood test 4or 5 days later....Anyone?

My daughter is going through these very difficult times as the young ladies on this. I admire each and every one of you for your bravery and patience in all you have to go through. Keep strong and hopeful, I am sure it will happen for you. X

Thank you it is hard... First time around it was difficult but now I am scared as this is our second and last chance as I am 40 already... And I have a bad feeling about it this time....

Never give up hope, I read a lot on this about women having success at 40. Please stay strong and I wish you every success in your baby journey xx
