hi, I am not a medical dr so not an expert on this but I am a biologist and I know that if the mother is Rh- there might be issue with the baby as at some point there is an exchange between mother and baby's blood at the placenta. Basically being Rh- means your red blood cells don't have specific antigens (rhesus D) on the surface. If your baby is Rh+ it means he/she has this antigen on the red blood cells. When yours and baby's blood get mixed up, it could trigger an immune response in your body as you don't have that specific antigen. I think you need to get in touch with your midwife or dr they can tell you what to do in case your baby is Rh+. there is a procedure I think you need to do. Hope it makes sense.
