HCG still in system 11 weeks after miscarriage!

Anyone out there been through something similar? I had a missed miscarriage 11 weeks ago, I had medical management (tablets) to bring the miscarriage on. It is now 11 weeks later and I still have HCG in my system, I am still getting positive tests.

I have had three internal scans and they can not seen any retained tissue, results from the last three weeks below:

15th June - HCG level 43

22nd June - HCG level 28

29th June - HCG level 27

It has only dropped by 1 in a week, the hospital have asked me to come back in another week for a scan, this is really starting to get to me as I cant move forward. Please give me some hope that somebody else has been through this and got there in end :)

Thank you
