No left ovary on scan

Hi all,

I just had a follow up scan and blood test appointment after a failed ICSI cycle. I had scans throughout my first ICSI treatment. There had been no problems in finding my ovaries, but today the nurse couldn’t find my left ovary. After the egg collection it was a bit sore for a while but that was it. I am Worried that it may have been shrunk and would affect my next treatment. The nurse tried to reassure me but I am really worried. She said if it is of a concern the doctor will write me.

Has anyone had this happened to them? I am really worried.
