Time between each round

I'm a long way off having ivf, I'm waiting for surgery to remove both tubes and then I can start IVF, it's maybe a bit premature to be asking these questions but can anyone tell me, if you have had your first fresh transfer and have some frozen, if the first round does not work, how long do you have to wait until you can try again? I hope this makes senses x

Hey there, sorry to hear about your infertility problems. This is undoubtedly a bumpy ride and worse is the disappointments that simply breaks your self-confidence. But don't be worried I'm pretty sure everything will be alright. You need to believe in yourself and totally bestow on your optimism. As you've already figured out... IVF is going to be definitely a suitable option for you. There's nothing premature at all, infertility is a long way and tough as well, therefore, collecting information is definitely much helpful at any stage. Technically it's better to have FET if you have scope for PGS that somehow escalates the success chances. Also, there are several benefits of FET compared to fresh transfer so I'd suggest FET. Usually, you should skip 1 cycle I guess to prepare yourself for the next transfer. This is also an individual aspect which is why you'll have to take a final saying from your RE to decide the duration between two transfers.

Sorry to hear u r going through this but it will eventually work out for u.There is no specific time period of waiting. For a fresh cycle some say to wait for few months and let things come back to normal but FET can be done sooner as far i know.

I guess I was trying to find out that if you have a few frozen, if it didn't work this month can you have a frozen one as soon as next month and if that didn't work, could you use another the following month or do you have to wait longer between each try?

In my opinion its better to wait for one month atleast after a fresh cycle to let body recover from the hormonal injections. otherwise theres no harm in starting FET immediately

plus its mostly the doctor’s preference.
