IVF BMI

Had 1 failed FET. On to next one now. Wondered how often everyone has been weighed? I am literally getting weighed at every single appointment!! So paranoid about gaining a pound!! BMI needs to be 30 or under for NHS IVF treatment

I had the same worry! Managed to get my BMI down to 27 for fresh transfer but it was 31 when I had my FET, they did weigh me but didn't stop me going ahead with transfer, which was successful and I'm currently 17 weeks 👍🏼 Weird how some clinics seem way more strict than others x

Hi there, my last round I was not weighed nearly half as much, but this time round its every appointment (same clinic). I have been about 27 whole way through. But went up a bit recently. Just another stress you dont need, especially when it's not an issue for certain people as it's worked for you. That's great!! X

My clinic weighed me nearly every visit! My bmi at the first appointment was 37 and they gave me 3 months to get it under, i just scraped it down to 29.8 but once i was approved im sure i went back up a little bit by transfer day and they still went ahead! Currently just been woken up by a beautiful (if not loud) 5 month old. Good luck x

Thanks for your reply. Glad it all worked out for you. I should be having my transfer in a few weeks 🙏
