So I recently started my 2nd FET cycle and was taking Progynova tablets. I went for my scan after 10 days and they found I had fluid leaking into my uterus from my right fallopian tube. I was advised that the embryo would not stick due to this fluid and I would need to have surgery to have tube clipped. This has been a very long process and I am devastated as its another delay. The clinic know I had a blocked right tube before I started this process, surely they should have sorted this problem out first. Feeling sad but hoping that I get to have this surgery quickly so I can get back onto the IVF cycle again

You must be feeling so disappointed / frustrated right now! So annoying but it's a blessing they found it though as otherwise you would be wasting a precious embryo. I had one of my tubes removed a few years ago due to a hydrosalpinx (fluid in the tube) and got diagnosed with severe endo during surgery, so I'm so glad I decided to get it done. Just think that you're doing everything possible to get your happy ending babe and you will get there!
Laparoscopies (I'm guessing that's the type of op you will be having) are not too bad but do take a few weeks to recover from, so take it easy afterwards. Hope you get a date through very soon and if you've any questions about it feel free to message me xxxxx
Hi Sprinkles, I am disappointed, its another delay. Feel like this journey has been going on forever. I had a laparoscopy before I even started the IVF process 2 years ago, but then it was just a blocked tube, so they didnt operate. Now the fluid has started leaking into my uterus . .. what are the chances??
Hopefully will get an appointment soon, hopeful wishing x
I am waiting for my appointment from the hospital. Unfortunately its a NHS hospital, so have no idea of when the appointment will come through. Luckily my MIL works at the hospital, so hopefully should be able to give it a push. So frustrating especially after having so many setbacks. Thanks for your kind wishes x
