Hi I've recently been diagnosed with low AMH, not extremely low but half what it should be for my age (29) my doctor said. 6.3 was my reading. My clinic suggested I try three cycles of iui before IVF as less cost etc. I'm just worri d it won't work as I've read it has low success. Has anybody been successful with iui with low AMH level? I'd be grateful for any info.

The choice is individual. For IUI, the sperm is processed so that only the best are included in a small sample, which is placed into the uterine cavity and timed with ovulation. Cycle monitoring is often used to optimize timing, which involves several transvaginal ultrasounds and rounds of blood work to figure out when ovulation will occur. Fertility medications can also be used to increase the number of eggs. It's more likely to cost you $300 to $500 (plus fertility medications!!) per insemination. The thing is that you have low AMH. But this doesn't mean those fewer eggs are worse in quality. So probably it would make sense for you. In case if no luck I'd advice looking onto win-win plans with ivf. Bio texcom offers such sorts of packages. Meaning you pay for 5 shots but get unlimited number of attempts (EUR 10k). In case you fail to get prego after 5 rounds and don't want to continue treatments. or your body got exhausted - They will refund you all money back!! Definitely a nice plan to follow! On the top, you can get donor eggs (if needed) for no additional fee. Meds included. Hope this helps. Remember quality is always above eggs quantity! Wishing you the best of luck!!
Stop spamming... go away troll. You're of no use to anyone. People don't need your good for anything advertisement of the clinic sugarcoated in help advise....everyone can already see through this pretension. I wonder why the clinic need so much of headless spamming anyway. Probably their success rate are to bad to speak for themselves isn't it.
You mean 6.3 ng/ml? Or there's some other way to state the AMH results as in another different type of grading? As far as I know,> 4 ng/ml indicates PCOS... the normal is between 0.9-3 ng/ml and below this range, it goes low. I'm seeing quite a few people state 6 or 8 and say it's low so I'm really confused as in if there's one more indicator or a possible grading. Don't worry though you're young and the AMH might affect the egg quality but still may be sufficient to get pregnant. As long as it's still enough to produce eggs it can work just fine. There are other ways to work on egg quality... like CoQ or DHEA and a few healthy lifestyles switches could suffice. However, you'll have more chance with IVF than IUI on any given day no matter what the fertility cause are.
I'm sorry for the problem you're facing. It is also impossible to know how you'll respond or the quality of your eggs if no trying. You could respond well and get 10 eggs. You could respond bad and get 1. But this very one is all it takes!! Chances of success are always higher with IVF than IUI. And the meds for IVF may be included into the package price (My clinic offers such treatment plans). The problem is that the majority of clinics like to make money. That's why they recommend 6 IUI but success is often low. But 6 IUI make them a lot of money! So if you have DOR then it's best to go straight to IVF. and not waste time you don't have on something with low success. I would change clinics and find a clinic that specilize in these things. Another reason many clinic wont put you in for IVF or cancel cycles under 4 eggs is. because they worry more about their clinical stats than your chances of success. If you don't mind fertility tourism, then I definitely have something to share. Feel free to ask.
