next steps!

hi all

just after some personal previous experience

we were referred to our chosen fertility clinic for IVF on the 23rd may, last week we received the letters and calls for dates ect to go there from the clinic

im due to go tomorrow for a AMH blood test? then we both have to go on the 25th July for a consultation and a consultation with the fertility nurse specialist.

I suppose my question is from the consultation period how long was it before you started treatment? or am I still a very long way off yet from anything happening!

any help/advise would be appreciated !

You might find every clinic is different but our wait wasn't very long at all. We attended a patient information meeting middle of may then had to wait for my period to start. We then had to see the nurse to sign all the legal documents & started tablets 23rd June.

thank for your comment! the clinics website states no waiting list so fingers crossed

I feel silly wanting to rush it as ive been trying for what feels like forever so few more months wont hurt but cant help myself lol! xx

Our first set of tests (amh, baseline scan, blood tests, swimmer tests) were January. Just missed my period to start that cycle so started end of Jan after the implications appointment. Hopefully not long for you now x
