When were you told to test??

I've been told to do a home pregnancy test 16 days from egg collection, but I've read and heard that some people were told to test 14 days or 9 days . X

If you hve a 5 day embryo you need to add on 9 days after transfer (to make it to 14 days). This is the minimum time to leave it before testing. The HCG from your trigger shot stays in your system for a while and can give a false reading so best to wait until then. It's hard but we all have to go through the 2ww if we're lucky. I tested at home at 11dp5dt and then waited until 14dp5dt for my OTD (19 days after EC!!) Stay strong. X

Most times its 10 days from transfer which works out about the same as the 16 days from collection.

Hi, dear! I'm keeping an eye on your posts I know perfectly well how dreadful this waiting game could be! You have to stay strong and positive. As for the time period before testing, it really differs. They say it should be done NOT EARLIER than 14 days after embryo transfer. This means 14+ days. It depends on every other situation, that's why it may vary to 16 days.. Try not to test too early, wait, hun. Keep my fingers crossed for you X
