Had a chemical pregnancy from ivf FET 2 weeks back. Just wondering when’s a good time to start my next FET?
Doc said take a break at least for 1 menstrual cycle.. I’m really dreading to have to go through this again but I can’t wait too long. Tested for ovulation and I don’t seem to be ovulating too, cycle’s messed up

Hi Seha. Did you decide to have chromosomal testing? My clinic said I need to have a bleed after my failed ICSI then start on the next cycle. I’m going to start tracking for ovulation too but I don’t expect anything at the moment. I think our cycles will be all over the place so don’t worry.
I feel like I need to crack on, but you have to listen to your body, if you need a break take one. I’ve just booked a holiday for October so I have something to look forward to. Xxxx
I didn’t do chromosome testing in my last cycle, I have 2 frozen embryos left so I’ll utilise those first.
Yeah, gotta stabilise my menstrual cycle first before proceeding with FET. Great that you’re going on a holiday, I need one too. Hope you’re coping better
Why is chromosomal testing even relevant here? I heard it's only possible to have an anomaly if the person have had several MCs or chemicals within a short span. Well in private clinics you can do the PGD or PGS at will... all you got to do is pay the add-on bill but I doubt if you're with NHS or something similar you have a free will over it. If they find the symptoms any suggestive of an anomaly then they will refer it. Or you can?
I’ve had failed chemicals and bfns prior so doc suspect tt my embryos cld be chromosomally abnormal. Yeah, pgs is optional in my country & clinic.. and not cheap too.
Hey there, sorry to hear about your chemical. Not that loss in any form in any less painful but it just gets unbearable when it's a FET. You just probably spent a huge time already in going through all the failures previously, pick yourself up from the emotional pit move on optimistically and then again the failure simple mar your fate. I can relate cause I'm pretty much on same frustating spell of waiting it out to start with my IVF so I know it's not an easy stride this far.
Back to your question... you can start as early as the next cycle only as far as I know. But usually they say to give one cycle break as the cycle might get whimsical over the next. Being chemical the body doesn't has any more disturbed patterns or much to recover. So in case you want you can talk to the doc about if they can schedule you up ASAP for the next FET. The wait definitely isn't pleasant. Wish you luck to find success over next FET.
Yeah. I’ll prolly wait for another menstrual cycle before I start, now my cycle is a little messed up, and I don’t seem to be ovulating this, keep getting a negative when I test. When are u starting ur ivf?
