It's the progesterone, I'm afraid, so this may continue while you are still taking it. Drink buckets of water and if your jeans are tight, you could try the elastic band through the loop trick and maybe get a belly band. I didn't do this though, I have a range of sizes in jeans at home and just used my 'fat pants' in the early days. Some clever dressing is what's needed at this point - anything that will elongate your figure, like scarves, long cardigans and blazers will help to draw the eye away from an emerging bump.
😊 I guess I was thinking more about disguising for work as that's where you get all the people gossiping! But yes, trackie bottoms all the way if you can. I did find long scarves great, they hide everything. You'd need fairly lightweight ones this time of year though. There's loads of advice on google about disguising things in the early days.
Hey, hun, it is normal to have bloating after a transfer. When I was in 2ww I talked to many women about their experience about the symptoms. A close friend of mine has recently had a transfer. And she went through a lot of bloating. And her belly looked like she was a couple months pregnant!! Her doctor explained the reason why she was going through a lot of bloating and cramping. It is because you have a lot of fluids in your uterus and your ovaries are enlarged. She explained that it takes about a week for the ovaries to go back down to normal size. The bloating and cramping will start to lessen soon!! Also, probably you want to drink lots of fluids... So, don't worry, dear! You're a brave girl, so try to stay calm and positive. The things you're facing are definitely widely spread about women undergoing IVF treatment. I wish you all the best of luck and feel much better soon. Hugs XX
Thank you I think I'm going to up my water intake. I had a bit of brown discharge earlier and now I have a lower back ache and symptoms of my period coming . Also my partners being a cox, saying he feels depressed ( it's self pity actually) he said that he was depressed as he was looking at house prices ( we live in a 1 bed flat and I have 2 embryos. So he's panicking . instead of showing me some support and offering to get rid of the double mattress that's been in our bedroom for the past ( 5 weeks -( that's when our new matress arrived) he decides to stay in bed all day and wolow . Sometimes I think I'd be better off on my own . All I'm worrying about is my embryos and he can stuff it. I'm going to please myself from now on and concsrntrate on making sure I'm ok. I don't need the stress
