Low in hemoglobin

who has a cirhosis stage 4 and see decreased Himoglobin , Among 7 months I saw my red blood cell and hemoglobin are decreased my hemoglobib shift from 13 to 10.7 .And I have the same diet, So is this a sighn that my lever get worse?? And who has noticed that in his body?

The same is happening to me...I had a liver ablation in Nov and in Dec I noticed this too. I do monthly labs. This month the hemacrit went down 2/10 of a pt below the low normal. Had some iron related labs which show iron anemia . Had an iron infusion Thurs and will have another one next Thursday..then two weeks later some more abs and an appt! Trying to figure it all out eg is there a silent bleed somewhere or what. I did have a follow up MRI last week and it was good. Hope u find some answers..

Thanks Nancy, my doctor diid not tell me that I may be has hemoglobin or iron decrease. Thanks for your help.

my son was diagnosed with an enlarged spleen too that causes low blood counts. His hematologist ordered him iron infusions and that has been very beneficial.
