New Eating Plan

I lost 20 lbs quickly. Let me tell you how...I've mentioned this before, but on the backend of my NASH story....I went to the store to change my eating style... main idea was to limit salt. I based my new interest on healthy eating on my bloodwork... my numbers were trending to the no-no state.

Mainly here is how I am doing it...

Go to the store and buy the different Mrs. Dash spices. There are about 7 or 9. Then go online and get the Garlic Gourmet spices with no salt. Even their Zesty Italian, which is amazing, is only 10% salt content. Then grab a big bottle of dice garlic.

Next, go to the vegetable aisle. But any beg that is lady or green. I bought the already mixed and washed tri-blend of spinich, kale and chards to start. Never eaten this stuff before... not too bad actually. My shopping list...

🙂Real olive oil

🙂Kale, spinich, chards mix in plastic bin

🙂broccoli

🙂cauliflwer

🙂green onions

🙂head of cabbage

🙂zucchini(2)

🙂mushrooms

🙂bag of baby carrots

🙂pork loin, unflavored+unsalted

🙂chicken breast s

🙂wild caught shrimp

🙂bag of salmon burgers (Costco)

🙂salmon in portions(Costco)

🙂tomatoes

🙂very low salt refried beans(vegitarian)

🙂plant based hamburger (if wanted for tacos)

🙂Head of lettuce or romain

🙂Non salted nuts(Costco sells a bag or buy from bulk section)

🙂Steel cut oats

🙂Only fruits I eat have to end in "berry"

🙂Organic pure lemon juice

Ok... you can make and eat any of this list together in any way you want. Main goal is to eat 1/2 to 1/4 cup of olive oil a day and no salt, fat, or sugar.

Breakfast is the pasta and berries and a smudge of milk.

Lunch and dinner... I cook all the veggies(precut and cleaned and in bins on the fridge) in olive oil, with a type of meat... no salt, some garlic, some spices, add in the meat of choice.

Or... tacos on corn rootless... add some cilantro, salsa, sour cream.

Snacks are carrots or nuts with water flavored with real lemon juice. I buy it by the bottle... no sugars added...too much can throw off your pH levels though!

Hope this helps!

pretty good list, just keep the protein at about 20% of calories and you should be good

Wow! Tried ingesting the olive oil early in my diet but my hepitoligist was against it, but the berry's and vegi's are the same. Can't have the pasta or oats but I congratulate You for staying on this if it is working for You !!!

don’t forget eggs, if you like them. The healthiest protein you can eat with plenty of choline. My doctor stressed at least 80 grams of protein daily but I try to eat around 120-150. I have compensated cirrhosis with normal blood work and no symptoms 🤞.

Your right on with the diet and that’s number one priority for me is diet. Clean eating, Whole Foods and plenty of veggies and lean meats and fish.
