I was diagnosed with fatty liver (45 %) and stage 2-3 fibrosis in 2016. Was told to loose weight and exercise. Which is hard to do when you are disabled. I really did not pay attention to it and reaped the benefits. In September of last year I went into the hospital for a heart procedure. The day after I went into full hepititus. I turn orange, eyes yellow, orange urine, itching, fever and throwing up. My liver test results were 10x higher than normal. I was in the hospital for a week before they almost came down to normal. The Dr. at the hospital told me that I had fatty liver and cirrhosis. That it would take a long time , even more than a year to get it under control. This was from the cat scan with contrast and ultrasound that they preformed.
On January 4, 2024 I had a HC blood test done to determine fibrosis. It came back as Fibrosis Score 0.68 Normal range is 0.00 - 0.21. Fibrosis Stage. F3-Bridging fibrosis with many septa;Fibrosis Scoring0.58 - 0.72 = Stage F3 - Bridging fibrosis with many septa.
Since September of last year after getting out of the hospital I have lost 40 lbs. Mainly because I was not hungry, and I went strict Keto with intermittent fasting. I started a supplement regime with mega dosing.
On February 23 I had an ULTRASOUND ELASTOGRAPHY LIVER done. Today I found out the results.
Study Result
Impression
1. Metavir score F 0-F 1, mild fibrosis
This is impossible. No fatty liver and almost NO Fibrosis in a little over a month. Even if you go back to September this is not possible.
The only explanation I have is that I did my part get as healty as possible. I made a commitment to God to start taking care of my health that I had neglected and He did the impossible. BUT nothing is impossible with God.
If you think that there is any other explanation. Pls let me know. I have all the Documation from specialist and even they do not have an answer.

I'm glad to hear you are doing better. That is a dramatic change and I hope the test was accurate. We see a lot of people improve with weight loss and the liver is remarkable in its ability to recover but you would be a leader of that parade. If you have an opportunity it would be good to confirm your status with some other test like a Fibroscan or MRE but the best measure is how are you feeling? You walked up to the gates of liver hell but didn't go there so I trust you feel much better now.
I am feeling fantastic. More energy than ever . Before I was exhausted all the time. I had no appetite. My urine would turn orange. Periodic itching, extreme bloating etc. It has all disappeared.
I’m very happy for you and yes God always has the final day. I’m glad you took it serious this is not a disease you can ignore. Always eat right and keep your weight off. Best of luck and congratulations!
I realise that I still have to be very deligelent with my Health. Stay on track with my supplements and continue to loose weight. This has been a major wake up call for me and I will not go backwards to my old habits.
Hi Wayne, what are your thoughts on being told you are F0-F1 from a fibroscan and degree of scarring? I have had 4 fibroscans, I get them once a year. They have decreased in score through the years. The first one being 6.7 and the last one being 6.2. My CAP score has also decresed from 302 to my last one of 254. I have been told I have no scarring, but I see many in the F0-F1 range who are told that it means minor scarring. Is there ever a score of F0 given on a fibroscan report? Is F0-F1 considered normal? Thanks for your input.
I am so happy to see that your scores are heading in the right direction. I was in shock to see that my score went from a 68-F2-F3 to a 0-F1 in less than a month. To me it is a miracle. I have never heard of this happening before. I know the power of prayer works. I am pretty sure that a score of 0 would mean that you have a healthy normal liver and an F1 means a little , minimal scaring .
such wonderful news and so encouraging to all of us who continue to clean out and repair our livers. I know a variety of diet types have helped heal liver disease and that weight loss in general moves us toward health. Did you follow a strict keto diet or was it keto ish? I ask because with NASH, I’m having a terrible time losing weight… I exercise every day, drink water, green tea, dandelion tea, lemon water, no table sugar, no beef, and no processed food. Have tried calorie restriction and keto (which kind of made me feel sick… I don’t seem to do well with a lot of fat) etc. I haven’t lost a pound in 6 weeks after my initial 18 pounds off…I need to lose around 40 or more So I’m curious about what worked for you … if you or any others who struggled to lose but eventually succeeded with weight loss have good books, sites or recipe books
I went by the book “how to naturally reverse fatty liver” by Jonathan Mizell and Susan Peters. I followed the diet in the book with the exception that I do eat lean meat and chicken. It totally worked for me. I lost 43 lbs over 7 months and went from F4 to F0 fibrosis. I exercise too and am on the prayer list at my church.
that’s so great. Prayer changes things and so does our body when we treat it well. So amazing! Your recovery. I’ll say a prayer of thanks for that. I’m so happy for those who have turned this around. I’m on course to do the same!!
