Nausea with cirrhosis is frequent, that said it can certainly be caused by something else like food poisoning. It doesn't HAVE to be cirrhosis.

Hi. I've never replied to anything before. I prefer to be On the sidelines if you want. But yes, about vomiting.... My God do I vomit but I go through cycles tho. Recently I am only sick after exertion and then drinking something. The other side of my 'cycles' is every single morning when I wake up, I'm running straight for the toilet. I then spend 10 to 15 minutes vomiting. Thing is, I'm only throwing up bile, yellow or green, stomach juices. It's so painful. It does subside eventually.

Does that sound like anything you're experiencing? I've got better as a result of not living homeless on the streets and eating a bit better and a bit more often.

I wish you well. Take care.

Ian

I have not had problems with vomiting with my liver problems. I use to get intestinal sickness weekly, start to heal and next week sick again. I started thinking that it seemed after doing laundry I would get sick, so I started washing my hands after handling each load..strange, but I haven't been sick since. Just an idea.

I would get sick during the night a lot before I was diagnosed with F4 fibrosis. It was awful! I thought it was my increase in Metformin making me sick, but it was not. Now since I’m down to F0 fibrosis and lost the excess weight and am eating right, I don’t get nauseated anymore.
