Is a reading of 126 high UK measurement for the above? I have mild fatty liver but suspect cirrhosis due to symptoms which are increasing. My GP says it’s normal but from what I have read it is high. I have cut out all alcohol, eating healthy but exercise curtailed after my dog tripped me up walking. I wonder if bruised bone has caused it to be high end of normal? GP completely satisfied that I have no cirrhosis.

Well, ALP is one of the blood markers docs look at but it is only one and can fluctuate for a variety of reasons. Presumably your doc is looking at your entire situation in making that judgement. Good to keep an eye on but not enough information to panic.

Yes it was 90 last time but I have injured knee, I know bone is involved. Thank you for replying Wayne.

I have heard of ALP,my doctor has done that test.

130 considered high, mine was 126. Don’t know doctor’s opinion on it because they’re hard to contact. I’m a person who hasn’t needed Doctors, always enjoyed good health but since January I have felt very unwell.
