I always posted here that I didn’t drink much, didn’t take any drugs and that my liver enzymes are elevated due to sugar and fat intake. But today I realised I wasn’t entirely right. I did take antibiotics. Now I’m my on third set of antibiotics in past two years (for tooth inflamation, bacteria infection after covid and now Lyme disease). Is it possible that antibiotics are elevating the enzymes? Could antibiotics damage your liver and cause NASH or NAFLD?

Antibiotics are normally processed by the liver and many can cause damage so long term use is discouraged. Some of the drugs for Lyme are particularly hard on the liver so should be taken in consultation with a liver specialist. You can Google "liver toxicity (and your drug name)" and get information on the ones you are taking.
I have looked for the list and can’t find it anywhere do you have a link please ?
