I'm 33 years old male, Asian Indian and my doctor has diagnosed me with early stages of fibrosis with NASH. My fibroscan score was 19.9 Kpa with FIB-4 score of 0.55. With strict diet, exercise and lifestyle changes for 2.5 months reduced my body weight by around 5Kgs(7% of my body weight) and BMI from 24.5 to 23. Now my fibroscan score is 12.9 Kpa with FIB-4 score of 0.37. Is my doctor's diagnosis of early stages of fibrosis correct? what is my prognosis? Can I get this condition completely reversed?

Thanks a lot for your reply. The place where I live they only measure liver stiffness and 12.9 kpa is only number I have got. They call it ultrasound elastography and it may not be considered as fully equipped fibroscan.
Well, that is asking for a diagnosis which we can't really do. A lot of things enter into that and it isn't a precise measure but a lot of docs use a cutoff of 12 to 14 as the transition from a stage 3 to stage 4 so it should be taken seriously.
