Hi everyone,
To be honest, I can't for the life of me remember if I've posted this on here or not, so I apologize if it's repetitive.
For the past two years, I've been struggling with an undiagnosed liver disease. Originally my Dr. thought it was fatty liver, then it wasn't, then it was possibly autoimmune hepatitis and then it wasn't...so tomorrow, I finally have an MRI to see what's what.
I suffer from chronic pain - cervical spondylosis, fibromyalgia and a host of other things (blah), and the one medication I CAN take knocks me on my butt, which is fine on the weekends, but I'm pretty sure my boss would frown upon me passed out at my desk.
It's really making me tired and cranky and I'm frustrated, because I'm TERRIFIED to try anything. Every time my GP prescribes something, I'm right on the Google making sure it doesn't cause liver issues (and let's be honest - 99.99% of pain meds DO cause liver issues).
If anyone is in the same boat - how do you deal with it? Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thank you!
Good health to you all.
Christine
